Through the Darkness to the Light

Kyryl Yelchyts' renowned collection, Through Darkness To Light, is a powerful testament to the resilience of creativity in the face of adversity. This remarkable series of light objects is crafted from parts of a Russian combat helicopter downed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2022. By repurposing materials once intended to bring death and destruction, Kyryl transforms them into luminous creations that radiate hope and positivity.

This collection was introduced in summer 2024 in London during “The Art of Saving Lives” fundraising charity auction, where Kyryl stood alongside fellow Ukrainian artists who donated their works to support a noble cause. Each piece in the “Through Darkness To Light” collection serves as a poignant reminder of the potential for beauty and renewal, even amidst the most challenging circumstances.
